For UDN’s report “Taiwan’s vessels for Taiwan terminated?” MND re-asserted (15^th) that “Taiwan’s vessels for Taiwan” was a core project to build up the capacity of national defense industry. The determination of the government would not fall over Ching-Fu case.

MND said there had been proof of successful experience such as Panshi FCSS, Tou River corvette and as long as the direction and measures were correct, there were bases to succeed. In the future the project “Taiwan’s vessels for Taiwan” would include massive production of Tou River corvette and manufacture of amphibious transport dock.

MND highlighted this was a lesson well-learned so that it would refine itself to accomplish the task “Taiwan’s vessels for Taiwan”.
